I am sitting here at the Cincinnati airport awaiting my delayed flight, so I thought it would be a good time to update you on what's new. There is a new update to PE-DESIGN NEXT^® (Palette^® 9) to version 9.10. To update your software, connect to the internet and open Layout and Editing. At the top right of the screen, there is an icon that looks like a Man. Click on the arrow next to that icon and choose Check for Updates. The software will check to see if you are running the most current version. Please note that if you did not update to 9.02, you may have to run the update twice.

There are also new updates for the PR machines.

To the wonderful ladies and gentlemen I had the pleasure of demonstrating the software to this past week. Thank you for being such a wonderful audience. To those who attended class. What a great weekend I have just had at Sew N Sews in Nederland, TX. You ladies and my one gentleman, were wonderful to be around. I love it when you get excited about software! I feel blessed to have been able to spend time with you. I do hope you feel your time was well spent. Keep practicing, it will come to you sooner than you think. Thank you for welcoming me into your community. It was a great first trip to Nederland!

I have just spent a wonderful 2 days training the Texas Brother dealers on the Brother PE-DESIGN NEXT software. I truely enjoyed my time with you all and hope you found the training beneficial. For those of you in Texas who aren't dealers, you have some great ones in your area. All of them are very enthusiastic and enjoyable to be around. If you live in Texas, I will be doing 2 seminars for consumers in the near future. The first one is next weekend at Sew N Sews in Nederland, TX. The second one in April at Ace Sewing Center in Wichita Falls. Call either store to sign up. This is a first for both stores, don't miss out on the opportunity to learn more about your software!

Happy New Year! I can't believe another year has come and gone....What a busy year. As I reflect on the past year, I am thankful for my family, friends, good health and the opportunities I have had to meet each of you in my travels.

I have taken some time off this holiday season, but I knew I had a project to finish......the BES Lettering workbook you all have been asking about. Well..........I think it is about ready for print. A few more finishing touches, completing the cover and getting quotes and I should have it ready by mid month (OK maybe the 3rd week) to go out the door. I'll keep you posted.

Just a note to say new designs have been uploaded to the free design page. One will be used in a new book I am finishing for the BES Lettering program. Enjoy the new designs. I hope you are not too harried this season and can take time to do something special for yourself.

Hi All PE-DESIGN fans!

This What's New section is a new item for me to add to the web site. I hope to try and use this like a blog section to give you new information.

What an exciting year it has been! I have traveled all over the country, met many wonderful people and have had a blast providing instruction on the PE-DESIGN and BES Lettering software.

This fall, I have had the opportunity to show many of you the latest in PE-DESIGN software: PE-DESIGN NEXT. Yes, it is the Next best thing to sliced bread. I can't narrow down which features are my top 10. They all are great. My favorite: The Create Floral Lines function. It is like having my own spirograph machine.

Keep tuned for information regarding my soon to be release BES Lettering workbook and the progress on Digitizing's Sew Easy for PE-DESIGN NEXT, think Spring!
